Seattle Salmon
Ingredients:
1 stick unsalted butter
1/3 c. Burleson's Pure Honey
1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
2 Tbs. lemon juice
3/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
1 tsp. liquid smoke flavoring (optional)
1 2-lb. salmon fillet, skin on
Directions:
Rinse and pat dry salmon fillet. Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until smooth and combined, about 5-7 minutes. Cool to room temperature. Place salmon in 9 X 13-inch baking dish. Pour cooled marinade over fish and allow to stand for 30 minutes, turning once. Oil grill grates well and cook salmon, skin side up, over medium heat for 5-7 minutes. Turn fillet over and cook an additional 5-7 minutes or until fish flakes with a fork. Makes 4 servings.
