Honey Crystal Almonds
Ingredients:
2 c. whole almonds
1/4 c. Burleson's Pure Honey
2 Tbs. butter
1/4 c. raw sugar (Sugar in the Raw recommended)
Directions:
Place almonds evenly on un-greased baking pan and place in cold oven. Turn oven to 350 degrees F. Bake almonds for 18 to 20 minutes or until almonds begin to smell toasted, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, in small saucepan, heat honey and butter to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add almonds, stir to coat. Simmer 2 minutes. Spray rimmed baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray or line with parchment paper. Spread almonds in a single layer on the baking sheet to cool slightly. Sprinkle with sugar; toss to coat. Cool completely before serving. Makes about 8 servings
