Preheat oven to 275 degrees F. In 4-cup glass measure, combine honey, 1/3 cup sugar and butter. Microwave on High for 2 minutes. Microwave on High for 2 minutes longer, stirring every 30 seconds. Stir in vanilla. Meanwhile, divide pecans on 2-rimmed baking pans lined with parchment paper. Drizzle half of the hot honey mixture over each pan of pecans. Bake for 35 minutes, stirring every 10 to 12 minutes. Cool for 2 to 3 minutes on pans. Combine 1 teaspoon each salt and sugar; sprinkle over pecans. Cool completely. Break into pieces. Store in airtight container. Makes about 5 cups.
